Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Honestify, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Honestify lets you create a public profile with an assistant that answers visitor questions based on content you provide, collect anonymous feedback, run structured professional reviews with generated summaries, and optionally receive contact requests from visitors.

Honestify is operated as an individual project at honestify.me. The service is provided on a best-effort basis.

You must provide accurate information when signing up. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure.

Usernames are unique and intended to be permanent once registered. Choose carefully.

You keep ownership of the content you submit (profile topics, review questions, uploaded resume, and similar).

You grant Honestify a license to host, display, and process your content as needed to run the service — including making your profile assistant publicly available, generating privacy-safe public resume versions, and generating responses and summaries.

You confirm you have the right to share anything you upload, including resume PDFs.

Profile topics you save are used to power a public assistant. Do not publish sensitive information you do not want strangers to access through chat or related features.

Email and phone from your resume are private by default; address is always private. You control privacy settings and optional public resume download in your dashboard. When download is enabled, visitors receive a privacy-safe PDF — not your original upload.

Contact requests let visitors ask you to share contact details. You decide whether to approve or reject each request. Approving a request emails that requester the contact email and optional phone you configured for sharing on approve.

Assistant answers are generated from your profile content and privacy settings. They may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Visitors should not rely on them as professional, legal, or factual guarantees.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile topics and resume.

Do not use Honestify for illegal activity, harassment, hate speech, spam, impersonation, or attempts to manipulate or abuse the assistant (including jailbreak prompts).

Do not misuse contact requests to spam profile owners or collect personal data under false pretenses.

Do not upload malware, copyrighted material you do not have rights to share, or content that violates others' privacy.

We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service.

Reviewers submit feedback without creating an account. Messages may be edited to remove toxic language while preserving constructive intent. Approved feedback is visible to the profile owner, not to the public.

You may stop using Honestify at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if needed to protect the service or other users.

Honestify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect assistant responses, or specific outcomes from feedback, reviews, or contact requests.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
