Sharing a public profile meant choosing between a useful resume download and keeping personal contact details off the open web. We split original vs public resumes, added privacy controls, contact requests, and owner-configured share fields for approve and public assistant answers.

Why We Built It
Sharing a public profile meant choosing between a useful resume download and keeping personal contact details off the open web.
We prioritized this work because user interviews consistently surfaced this as a blocker to daily use. The fix needed to be durable—not a patch—so we addressed root causes in Privacy-First Profiles rather than symptoms alone.
Engineers, recruiters, and hiring managers all benefit when Honestify behaves predictably in production. This release reflects that bar.
