Why We Built It
Private profiles limited discoverability; engineers rebuilding personal sites duplicated Honestify content manually.
We prioritized this work because onboarding drop-off and support volume pointed to a clear UX gap. The fix needed to be durable—not a patch—so we addressed root causes in Public Profiles rather than symptoms alone.
Engineers, recruiters, and hiring managers all benefit when Honestify behaves predictably in production. This release reflects that bar.
User Impact
Public profile adoption at 18% of active users; organic impressions on /u/* pages growing week-over-week.
| Audience | How you benefit |
|---|---|
| Engineers | Faster profile setup, clearer AI answers, less manual rework |
| Recruiters | More complete profiles and reliable share links when candidates use Honestify |
| Founders / hiring managers | Better signal on candidate preparation and skills alignment |
| Platform engineers | Documented APIs and stable auth flows |
Relevant skills: rag, react, typescript, nextjs. Target roles: frontend engineer, ai engineer, full stack engineer.
